A sale timeline and a cash deadline are different
Finding a buyer, negotiating, arranging a survey and completing a transfer do not always fit your cash deadline. Rather than assuming a particular sale date, discuss the amount you need and the time available. We consider capital requirements from USD 3 million and yachts typically valued from USD 10 million.
Agree the onward sale from the outset
Tell us whether your yacht is already listed and whether a broker has an exclusive mandate. At your request, we can support marketing with a specialist yacht broker. Existing brokerage commitments, asking-price decisions, offer acceptance and completion arrangements need to be addressed before the transaction.
Ownership and the buyback option
Ownership transfers to us when our purchase completes. You retain a contractual option to repurchase within six months at agreed prices. If an onward buyer is found, the release, transfer and settlement steps are coordinated under the agreement. Continued use remains subject to the documented arrangements.
Understand the settlement
Your offer distinguishes the purchase price, operating-cost reserve, other deductions and net payout. On an onward sale, the agreed amounts, disclosed fees and actual costs are accounted for. Any remaining surplus is returned to you. The contract also covers an expired option and any shortfall.
A role for your yacht broker
Your broker may introduce the opportunity through our referral programme. A separate brokerage agreement governs any commission for arranging an onward sale. Neither a sale nor a second commission is automatic.
Prepare your enquiry
Include your current listing, asking price, broker details, ownership information and capital deadline. Review how it works and running costs before requesting an offer.
