How the purchase and buyback work

We agree a purchase price and buy your yacht. Ownership transfers to us at completion. You receive the agreed net payout and a contractual option to buy the yacht back within six months, at the prices and on the dates set out in your agreement.

The gross purchase price is not the same as cash paid to you. A six-month operating-cost reserve and other disclosed deductions are shown separately before you commit.

Bridge a temporary cash gap

You may expect proceeds from another asset, a business transaction or another source, but need liquidity sooner. Your expected source of repurchase funds helps us understand the plan. The option gives you a route to regain ownership; it does not guarantee that repurchase will be affordable or that expected funds will arrive.

Continue enjoying your yacht

Continued use is available under the arrangements agreed before completion. Location, insurance, crew, maintenance and usage responsibilities are documented. Read how the operating-cost reserve works.

If you intend to sell

If the objective is an onward sale, we can discuss a bridge to sale and support marketing with a specialist broker at your request. The sale and settlement process is agreed in advance.

What happens at the end of six months?

If you do not exercise the option within the agreed period, it expires and the yacht remains ours. Any onward sale follows the contractual process. Proceeds are reconciled against agreed amounts, disclosed fees and actual costs. Any remaining surplus is returned to you; the agreement defines the calculation and treatment of any shortfall.
