Start with ownership

A secured yacht loan generally involves borrowing with security over the yacht, with ownership subject to that security. In our purchase-and-buyback structure, ownership transfers to us at completion. Your right to regain ownership comes from the contractual repurchase option.

Compare obligations, not just labels

A loan has its own repayment, interest, security and enforcement terms. A buyback agreement sets purchase and repurchase prices, option dates, use and cost responsibilities, and what happens if the option expires. Review the complete documents and actual costs with your advisers.

Which need are you trying to solve?

Our focus is short-term liquidity: a temporary cash gap or a bridge while an onward sale is arranged. We consider capital requirements from USD 3 million and yachts typically valued from USD 10 million. This is not an offer of long-term finance for purchasing a new yacht.

Using the yacht and planning the exit

Continued use is available under the agreed arrangements. You need a clear plan for repurchase or onward sale, and must understand the consequences of not exercising the option within six months. Read yacht buyback, bridge to sale and terms and costs.
