Purchase price and cash paid to you
The gross purchase price is the agreed amount for our acquisition of the yacht. The six-month operating-cost reserve and other disclosed deductions reduce the net payout. Your offer separates these amounts so you can compare the cash available with your liquidity requirement.
Your repurchase prices and dates
The agreement sets out the contractual buyback option, which lasts up to six months, the applicable prices, permitted dates and the steps needed to exercise it. Ask for the early-repurchase arrangements and the full schedule before signing. We do not publish a universal price schedule because proposals are individual.
The operating-cost reserve
The agreed budget covers essential crew, berth, insurance, maintenance and other specified costs. We pay these directly as agreed and account for expenditure. Personal cruising expenses are separate. Unused reserves are credited at repurchase or final sale settlement after outstanding commitments. See running costs.
An onward sale and any surplus
The contract sets out marketing and sale arrangements, agreed amounts due, disclosed fees and actual costs. These are reconciled against proceeds. Any remaining surplus is returned to you. You should understand the calculation, any further costs during a sale and the treatment of any shortfall before completion.
Timing and due diligence
Indicative terms can be provided within 24 hours once the necessary information is available. Funding within seven days is possible in suitable cases, subject to complete documentation, timely survey access, satisfactory checks and agreed terms. These are not guaranteed deadlines.
Before you commit
Review the contracting entity details, ownership transfer, use arrangements and complete transaction documents with your advisers. Read important information and how the buyback works.
